Welcome to the latest in our series of articles about the Transformers Earth Wars mobile game where we take a look at the best Power Cores for each bot. While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Today’s bots to review Power Cores for are Swoop (formerly known as Strafe) & Scourge. Swoop and Scourge take to the skies as some of the most popular and strongest of the air bots in the game! They have one of the highest DPS in the game with low HP. They are quite the glass cannons and are vulnerable due to Fire Mission’s long air time, but will wreak havoc on bases set up in the honeycomb style or with sparse defenses. Their high hang time and the need to reuse their abilities often means that they often lack access to healers, making them easily shot out of the sky by well organized defenses. If buildings are in clusters, their abilities will not be able to clear the essential defensive structures you need. But Power Cores are here to help and improve these flaws and enhance their abilities!

Best Power Core for Strafe & Scourge:

Air Command – Reflective Coating – Air Command – Reflective Coating addresses the highest concern about Swoop’s low HP and vulnerability in the air due to prolific usage of the Anti-Air Laser Core and enhances the special ability’s damage. This Squad Core is a perfect fit for bots who spend a long time in the air, including Strafe & Thrust, by protecting against the attacks of Laser Turrets and Beam Lasers, the former of which is a higher priority for Swoop/Scourge to defend against. In addition, the boost to the bots’ special ability, around 7-15%, can be a huge help in destroying defensive buildings as opposed to just weakening them.
