The in-game message tonight gave many the update they were eager to see – that Magneto’s Asteroid M Legendary Event was coming soon. How soon? How about this weekend? The event is set to start on August 10th and stay live through the 13th to allow players to add Magneto to their roster. Of course the Asteroid M Event is a recurring Legendary Marvel Strike Force event that requires 5 X-Men or Brotherhood characters to unlock Magneto, who opens at 5-stars (310 shards). You must beat all lower tiers before advancing to the next tier level.

With the addition of Magneto to many rosters, this will surely impact future Alliance War match-ups as players continue to progress their rosters.
