SWGoH Relic Review: Amilyn Holdo

Vice Admiral Holdo - SWGoH

Gaming-fans.com has been a staple in the Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes community since the beginning. From our character Mod Guides and breaking news as a EA GameChanger to our Sith Raid Guide and more, our site seeks to help educate players about this highly complex mobile game. With Relic Amplifiers a major part of the endgame, Gaming-fans.com has you covered as we seek to continue to make the community smarter when it comes to how to get the most out of Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes.

Continuing the Relic Review series, this article will look at Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo and her Relic, the Defender Pistol. As always these reviews compare a character at Relic level 0 to Relic level 7 and mods are not factored in.

Starting off Vice Admiral Holdo gains an above average Health increase of 19,440. Her 9.33% Armor and 10.65% Resistance gains are both respectable. The 10,350 Protection increase she receives is very useful, and she gains an impressive 20.25% increase to both Physical Critical Avoidance and Special Critical Avoidance. Overall, these survivability gains are very strong and better than the gains seen by most of the tanks in SWGoH.

On the offensive side Amilyn Holdo gains a disappointing 1,631 Physical Damage increase, but a strong 2,796 Special Damage increase. The 16.83% Physical Critical Chance increase is a bit low, but not very important for a tank like Holdo.

Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo is a good tank on a Resistance team and the stat increases from her Relic complement her abilities well. With Galactic Legend Rey about to be added to SWGOH, Holdo’s usability is very likely to increase further. Because of these factors I am placing her in the middle area of the Medium Priority tier. If you are working on unlocking Galactic Legend Rey, having Holdo at Relic level 5 is a requirement and thus moves her to the middle area of the High Priority tier.
