MSF: Best Iso-8 for Negasonic

Negasonic - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Negasonic, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Negasonic. A key member of the X-Force team, for the purposes of MSF, Negasonic is a Hero, Global, Mutant, Blaster and a member of the X-Force faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: Negasonic, on War Offense, will take the first turn on an X-Force team. In other game modes, she takes the 4th turn with only Cable as a slower character. In addition, on War Offense she grants herself and all X-Force allies +50% Damage per her Ticking Timebomb unique. Because I place great value in my X-Force characters on War Offense, I am focusing first on Offensive stats, followed by Health to keep her alive.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Negasonic in Marvel Strike Force:

When putting the five X-Force characters in Marvel Strike Force together there are certainly several ways to use Iso-8, however the goal here is to use it as effectively as possible. While I initially was leaning toward the Fortifier class when Iso-8 was first released, further research and testing has me now using Negasonic as a Raider to enhance her effectiveness on War Offense. Because she takes the first turn on War Offense, I use the Warhead AoE attack to place Heal Block on the enemies. As a Raider this increases her Critical Chance, and on crit a Raider will place the Vulnerable status effect on enemies. Given you have 5 enemies at the start of any War battle, this gives you 5 chances to land a crit and set up the battle for her teammates to capitalize.
