Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Yondu, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely/Boundless Entertainment. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Yondu. One of the early additions in Marvel Strike Force, Yondu is Villain, Cosmic, Mystic, Support and a member of the Ravager faction. Let’s take a look at how Iso-8 can work with his kit to maximize his effectiveness in MSF.
Main Focus: Yondu is the second fastest member of the Ravager faction with a base Speed of 112, and should take the second turn on this team after Star-Lord (T’Challa). As a result, adding Damage is your best place to start with Focus added to help remove positive status effects with his Yaka Arrow special.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Yondu in Marvel Strike Force:
The Ravager faction has long been dead and incomplete in Marvel Strike Force, but the addition of Star-Lord (T’Challa) is breathing new life into the entire faction. Along with T’Challa and Ravager Boomer, is intended to do damage making him a good candidate for the Raider and Striker classes, but the argument could also be made for the Skirmisher class is Ravager Boomer as a Striker. If you go with our recommendation of Star-Lord (T’Challa) as a Skirmisher, it makes sense to then make Yondu a Striker to complement T’Challa’s attacks and exploit the Vulnerable Iso-8 debuffs added by T’Challa. As a result I recommend the Striker class, but your own gameplay may lead you toward the Skirmisher or Raider class instead.
