SWGoH - Rise of the Empire Territory Battle

The newest Territory Battles are here as the Rise of the Empire Territory Battle was launched in December 2022. Unlike previous Territory Battles in SWGoH, the Rise of the Empire TB features Light Side, Dark Side and Neutral paths and Platoons are now called Operations.

The Rise of the Empire Territory Battle features six Phases which last 24 hours each. Each of the six Phases of the event has a Special Mission rewarding Mk III Guild Event Tokens in Phases 1, 4, 5 and 6 and Reva (Third Sister) shards in Phase 3.

The following is a Walkthrough of my experiences in Phase 2 that will be updated over time. Specifically, this covers the Combat Mission on the Light Side that requires Jedi characters at Relic 6 or higher. Phase 2 Combat Mission Requirements:

Phase 2 Jedi Combat Mission Battle Notes:

12.13.22 – Fighting a team of Imperial Troopers that includes two Purge Troopers, the enemies have the Endless Ranks ability on them meaning you have to kill 5 troopers before any of them actually die. I find that there is little room for error at all in this battle as I completely dominate the entire first wave of enemies and allow a single window for them to string a couple of attacks in and they kill my Relic 8 Jolee Bindo like he is Gear 8. I get to two enemies left and a Imperial Probe Droid revives, but I kill the two troopers and it auto-dies like Wat or Hermit Yoda without a teammate to keep it alive.

The second wave is against the Ninth Sister, three Purge Troopers and a Stormtrooper. I get Ninth Sister to red health and (I think) a single Imperial Probe Droid appears with taunt. I say I think because it acts as though there are 3 IPDs on top of one another, overlapping the other’s spot on the screen. I kill Ninth Sister and survive the Purge Troopers attempts to kill Hermit Yoda for now, and I start hitting the now taunting Purge Trooper. This causes a animation goof for the battle as I now believe there are indeed three IPDs as the protection and turn meter of the one on-screen continues to rotate between two different sets of stats. With the Endless Ranks on these troopers, I try to work my way through these enemies, removing Offense Up when I see it with JKLS, and once again the Purge Troopers find a slight opening and go crazy, killing Hermit Yoda. JKLS stuns them all and I am able to kill off the Purge Troopers and then the Stormtrooper as I will never know if there was 1, 2 or 3 Imperial Probe Droid since they die on their own and I gather 250k Territory Points.
