Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Namor, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Namor. Added to Marvel Strike Force in the Fall of 2019 alongside the Fantastic Four, Namor is a Villain, Global, Mutant and Brawler character. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: Namor is a Brawler, and a solid offensive character as a result, so boosting his Damage is where you want to focus your efforts. On War Offense he applies Offense Up on all Fantastic Four allies and himself and has both an AoE and an attack that hits adjacent enemies, and is used in one of the more common and effective counters to the Emmarauders in MSF.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Namor in Marvel Strike Force:
Depending on how you use the Fantastic Four in MSF, Namor remains a very good option in the game, especially for those with a high red star Namor. He hits fairly hard and the fact that he has an AoE and a splash-damage attack sets him up well for the Raider class which increases Critical Chance and Critical Damage. Given the two multi-enemy attacks, this increased CC will help add more Vulnerable Iso-8 status effects to the enemies, setting up his teammates for increased success.
