MSF: Best Iso-8 for War Machine

War Machine - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for War Machine, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is War Machine, a powerful Tech & Blaster character who is needed on strong Power Armor that teams. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing for War Machine by utilizing Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: War Machine is a Blaster with a decent base Speed of 115, meaning he should take the third turn on a standard Power Armor team or when you use Power Armor with Ultron. War Machine has one role in MSF – to do as much damage as possible. As a result I suggest you do not try to outthink the room on this one and enhance his Damage stat first.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for War Machine in Marvel Strike Force:

The makeup of teams in Marvel Strike Force is very interesting, and one popular counter in MSF is using Power Armor with Ultron against Emmarauders. On this team War Machine will take his turn after Rescue (Healer) and Ironheart (Skirmisher), leaving War Machine to exploit the newly-added Vulnerable Iso-8 debuff from Ironheart. If used as a Striker he will double-tap the enemy, and depending on his Iso-8 level, that second hit can be quite impactful. This then allows for Falcon to set the table with the next attack as well, thus maximizing the Power Armor team’s effectiveness. While the Raider class is not a bad fit for War Machine in other lineups, the Striker class works out better in my testing with an all-Power Armor or PA with Ultron team composition.
