Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Silver Surfer, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Silver Surfer. Silver Surfer, aka $$ because he was trapped behind a paywall to upgrade for some time, is a Hero, Mystic, Cosmic, Blaster who does not have an affiliation with any specific faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: Silver Surfer is an offensive character who is valuable in multiple game modes. A major piece to his effectiveness on offense comes from his ability to land multiple debuffs, or negative status effects. As a result ensuring his Damage and Focus stats are strong will make him harder to deal with for your enemies.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Silver Surfer in Marvel Strike Force:
Silver Surfer is a rare character without a faction and can fit into a lot of different lineups. With an effective AoE and a special attack that can hit adjacent targets as well, the Raider class seems to be a very good fit. If you can pair him with a strong, fast Skirmisher and then time it so that he hits second, the Striker class may better fit your gameplay, but I am using him effectively as a Raider on my roster.
