MSF: Best Iso-8 for Cull Obsidian

Cull Obsidian - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Cull Obsidian, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Cull Obsidian, the taunting tank of the Black Order team in Marvel Strike Force. For the purposes of MSF, Cull Obsidian is a Villain, Cosmic, Bio, Protector and a member of the Black Order faction who fits in the the Spades section of the Gambit Raid. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: The slowest member of the Thanos and Black Order team with a base speed of just 88, Cull Obsidian takes the last turn on this team. He is designed to eat up enemy attacks and allow Thanos to crush the enemies, and it seems unwise to use him otherwise. As a result look to build Health, Resistance and Armor first through the Iso-8 upgrades.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Cull Obsidian in Marvel Strike Force:

Cull Obsidian is a prototypical tank who taunts and is designed to eat up attacks and allow Thanos and the others to do the damage. While some argue that Cull Obsidian fits as a Striker, I just see this slow character who is designed to take a lot of attacks and feel that the Fortifier class is a better all-around fit. If your gameplay warrants otherwise please do not hesitate to comment or message @GamingFansDFN on Twitter, but the Fortifier class is where I see Cull Obsidian fitting in the best with Iso-8 in MSF.
