06.16.22 – My team checks in at 906k as I face off with 32 enemies totaling 47.2m health. Magneto, Mordo, Blob, Toad, Nebula, Pyro and Gamora are the 7 bad guys I start against, and I land AoE attacks from Shang-Chi and Scarlet Spider to start, but take a ton of hits. I lose Misty and SMS, then weaken Gamora before losing AV when another Shang-Chi ultimate is enough to take Gamora out. Shang is then killed off and SS gets another hit in before he is done, as 31 enemies and 42.9 health remains heading into Day 2.

Day 2 – Back again for another shot at it and my newly powered-up Shang-Chi is quite helpful in my knocking these 6 on-screen enemies out. I pick them apart one by one and by leaving Blob until the end I am able to refresh all cooldowns while finishing him off. At 25 enemies left a group of 9 appear and I get through the Drax taunt and weaken the group with AoE attacks from Shang-Chi, SMS and SS. Misty finishes off Scarlet Witch and then Moon Dragon and Phyla-Vell start the damage against me. I put all remaining hits on Mantis, but I cannot even put a dent in this group with their buffs and healing as I fall with 24 enemies and 35.1m health left.

Day 3 – I fight this battle 4 times through as I am getting my butt kicked each time, and the final one I bank as I at least make a little bit of progress on Mantis. 24 enemies remain when I am done but 34.3m health remains – only 800k of progress.

Day 4 – I now have Shang-Chi at 7 red stars which gives my offense a nice boost. Hoping to build on the baby steps from yesterday, I go after Mantis and her 60% health to start and hope… I restart a couple of times until lI get a battle that goes more my way, and after AV revives SMS it turns in my favor. Getting Mantis into yellow health is a pain, but after getting past the Drax taunt aI make it happen and keep the focus on her despite the self-heal each turn and losing Misty. Finally I get SMS to drop an ultimate attack and Shang-Chi helps with one of his own, and I get her to red and am able to finish her off. Next up is Moondragon and I finish her off rather quickly as 21 enemies remain. I target Phyla-Vell but Drax taunts again and I have to work around that before a game glitch stops the character turns and only shows the result of that action. I kill Adam Warlock and Drax then have Deathpool and Groot at the end, killing Groot first then using basics on Deathpool until she is down and 16 enemies remain. The new wave is 8 enemies who gang up on me after a few nice AoE attacks to weaken them a bit, and I die with 16 enemies and 16.5m health to go.

Day 5 -Back again facing 16 enemies and Blob’s taunt at the start is a pain. I place all of my attacks on him and get him to red health before restarting again and again. Some battles see Blob heal up while others I can get him to low red health before I am forced to restart due to the total annihilation of my characters. I learn that when SMS takes his initial turn, I must land a Defense Down in Blob to have any shot at killing him, as that has become the goal of this fight and my many retries. The ultimate attacks from Moondragon and Phyla are brutal, and it becomes apparent that killing Blob in this attempt is not going to happen, so I get one that lowers his health to very low red, and I bank it.

Day 5, Attack #6 – I decide that while I have the time and patience for this battle I will try again, so I use up my Dark health thingys and take another shot at it. SMS and Shang-Chi team up to eliminate Blob and that is about as far as I get. I try to place hits on one of the two Moondragon enemies, but I get nowhere thanks to the healing and barrier from the enemies and I just use basics to try to setup tomorrow a bit better as 15 enemies and now 17.3m health remains.

Day 6, Attack #7 – Today’s goal is to setup tomorrow and weaken this group of 8 on-screen. I start with a SMS ultimate and stun one of the two Phyla-Vell enemies and try to build on this, but the Moondragon in the front heals and screws up my plans two times. I restart and use the SMS ultimate instead on her, and stun her allowing for my hits to “stick” a bit more, and I am able to kill off Toad and one of the two Pyro enemies as a result. I weaken the other Pyro to red health as well, but the enemies heal him back to green before they finish me off with 13 enemies left and 15.5m health to go.

Day 7, Attack #8 – SMS lands Defense Down on Pyro and others right away and is followed by a Shang-Chi AoE which allows SS to kill Pyro, and out of the gate I am down to 12 enemies, 5 of which remain on-screen. However, despite the strong start, these Phyla-Vell enemies pack a mean punch and hit like a truck. I watch as a yellow health Phyla goes to full health with barrier in a blink of an eye and I get annihilated after this as 12 enemies and 15.1m health remain…

Day 8, Attack #9 – I start by going right at one Phyla-Vell and get her to low red health and cannot finish her off, so I restart. That is today’s goal – I need to remove some of this crazy offense against me to survive future battles. I go right after one PV and watch her heal back up only to bring her back down again. I restart several times and finally tough it out long enough that I get SMS to land a Defense Down on one PV and kill her thanks to the Iso-8 bonus attack. That is all I can muster today, as 11 enemies and 14.4m health remains.

Day 9, Attack #10 – With less offense on the screen I decide to target one of the two Moondragon characters as they keep healing the enemies and annoying me the most. Because the four enemies are grouped together, the attacks that hi adjacent enemies are like AoE attacks which is awesome, and I am able to kill off the first Moondragon much quicker than expected, then take out the other one too. Shang-Chi hits PV with Defense Down and kills her and I finish off Mordo with ease as this has been a pleasant surprise to start this battle. At 7 enemies left those 7 all appear and I go right after Mantis. I am able pile debuffs on her and then buff up my team just before the enemies go nuts and I survive their attacks as a result. Because of her proximity to Mantis, Gamora is now in yellow health, so I shift focus and kill her off, then focus once again on Mantis and finish her off. I stun Phyla and move on to Moondragon and I still have my starting five. I finish off MD and have just 3 enemies left, so Captain Marvel is my target. I stun Adam Warlock, finish off CM, then buff up and kill Warlock to leave just Groot. From here it is all basic attacks until he is dead and I walk away with 500k gold and 5k Elite 5 Credits.
