Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is about to get another influx of non-canon characters to the game as EA Capital Games finally made an official post on the topic today, announcing that Dash Rendar will be the first of that group. In total we will get five Legends characters with four marquee events leading up to a special Legacy event to unlock Starkiller. Some words from Capital Games on the topic:

We are excited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lucasfilm with five characters from Star Wars Legends. These units will be released in a series of four Marquee events and culminating in a special Legacy event for Starkiller!

Dash Rendar first appeared in the video game Shadows of the Empire and is a Scoundrel who will work well with Prepared teams. “His Leader ability, Prepared for Anything, grants his Scoundrel allies additional bonuses based on their role while they have Prepared, and while in Grand Arena Championships, this ability allows allies to immediately regain Prepared if they lose it.”

Rendar is to be the first of four characters added via marquee events leading up to the Starkiller Legacy event on December 15, 2021, that will be a permanent addition to the Journey Guide. Dash Rendar’s kit is available on the EA Capital Games SWGoH forums.
