Welcome to the best mods for Leia Organa, the latest article in our series about the popular game Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes where we take a look at how to best use mods for SWGoH characters. While I do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, I do my research and have used or studied every character I write about extensively. These are mod recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate the Galaxy of Heroes holotables.

Today’s character to review mods for will be for Leia Organa, the 8th Galactic Legend character in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. Released in September 2023, Leia Organa is a Light Side, Tank, Galactic Legend and Leader, and a member of Rebel faction. Our walkthrough guide to unlock Leia Organa is now live, but today we will take a look at which mods will best enhance her kit for SWGoH success.

Main Focus: Speed. Speed is a must on 95% of the Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes collection, and given the high Speed stats for Galactic Legends and the fact that Leia Organa starts with a base Speed of 372, speeding her up is the logical choice. All Galactic Legend characters in SWGoH have base Speeds ranging from 365-398, while the fastest non-GL character in the game is at 198, so the 10% boost from a set of four Speed mods is far greater for these elite characters. Leia may be one of the slower Galactic Legends at 372 Speed, but a +37 Speed boost from a set of four Speed mods is hard to pass up.

Additional Areas to Focus: Offense, Potency, Tenacity and survivability in the form of Health and Protection. Leia has the 7th highest base Health stat in the game and does damage in her Rebel Ambush special that is based on her Max Health stat, a stat that is enhanced throughout her kit. If there is ever a stat that is as important as, or more important than Speed, it is Health, so be sure to mod her accordingly. Offensively, Leia Organa does a lot of True Damage which is compounded with her rather average Physical Damage stats. Her crit stats are unimpressive, so sticking with straight Offense gains is your best bet and using her Health stat to boost that will help a a lot. Potency will help the debuffs stick and she has an above-average base Potency already, and adding more Tenacity will help ensure she can use this fantastic kit of abilities. Adding Protection will also be quite helpful if you have the right mods, but I would not sacrifice Health for Protection with the circle, triangle or plus mods.

As for the team around Leia Organa, the two obvious choices are Captain Drogan and R2-D2. Jedi Rebel tanks going the most from Leia’s leader ability, I Know, but I have tested non-Jedi Rebel tanks like Scarif Rebel Pathfinder and Baze Malbus with success as well. The one tank that seems to really fit is Old Ben as I have used him in almost every comp and like how he fits the team. Non-Scoundrel Rebel Attackers also get significant bonuses to Mastery, Health and Protection keeping Farmboy Luke, ROLO, Sabine Wren, Kyle Katarn, Ahsoka Tano (Fulcrum), Princess Leia and more.

In-game Mod Recommendations: Speed & Health, as I predicted. Leia’s base Speed of 372 is enhanced nicely by the 10% boost from a Speed set, and Health is a no-brainer with Leia and all member of her team.

Ideal Mod Setup for SWGoH Leia Organa:

The “ideal mod setup” can be interpreted a few different ways. If you target Speed, Potency, Health, Protection and Tenacity through the mods you should be able to maximize Leia’s kit nicely. While I am suggesting a Speed and a Health set, I could see where three Health sets could be in play if you have amazing secondary stats. Here are my recommendations for the best mods for Leia Organa:

• Transmitter (Square) – Speed mod with offense primary and a secondary focus on speed, health, offense and tenacity or protection
• Receiver (Arrow) – Speed mod with speed primary and a secondary focus on health, potency, tenacity and offense or protection
• Processor (Diamond) – Speed mod with defense primary and a secondary focus on speed, health offense and tenacity or protection
• Holo-Array (Triangle) – Health mod with health primary and a secondary focus on speed, potency, offense and protection or tenacity
• Data-Bus (Circle) – Speed mod with health primary and a secondary focus on speed, potency, offense and protection or tenacity
• Multiplexer (Plus) – Health mod with health primary and a secondary focus on speed, health, offense and protection
