MSF: Best Iso-8 for Luke Cage

MSF - Luke Cage

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Luke Cage, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Luke Cage. A key member of the Defenders team in the early progression of the game, and the H4H team for endgamers, for the purposes of MSF, Luke Cage is a Hero, City, Bio, Protector and a member of the Defender and Heroes for Hire factions. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: Survivability. Luke Cage is a character that you want taunting and eating up attacks to protect his Defender or Heroes for Hire teammates. Added Health, Armor and Resistance is where you want to focus your stat improvements with Luke Cage.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Luke Cage in Marvel Strike Force:

Luke Cage fits one of the classes for Iso-8 perfectly, the Fortifier Class, and while I would say there is no reason to out think the room on this one, the Healer class is just more effective because it helps the team more than the benefits of the Fortifier class. You can add the barrier and extra survivability to make Luke a bit harder to kill, and concentrate your strategic thoughts around how to use Iso-8 on his Defender teammates and Punisher, as the Punfenders a common way to use this group of characters. Note that 2021 brought us the Heroes for Hire (H4H) faction which is incredibly valuable in Alliance Wars, but this really does not impact Luke Cage’s use in the game. I continue to recommend the use of the Fortifier class or the Healer class for Luke Cage as a H4H member on War Defense.
