Yesterday’s Sony PlayStation showcase had a bit of a surprise for Star Wars fans as we learned that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will be getting a remake. The gaming studio Aspyr is set to develop the remake which will be a “console exclusive on PlayStation 5.” Aspyr lists several Star Wars games in their portfolio including the original KOTOR and KOTOR II games as well as Star Wars: Republic Commando, Star Wars: Racers and more. The trailer for the remake of KOTOR can be viewed on the Aspyr website and ends with the words “A Legend remade for PS5.”

Details on a release date are not known at this time.
