MSF: Best Iso-8 for Spider-Man 2099

Spider-Man 2099

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Spider-Man 2099, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Spider-Man 2099, one of Marvel Strike Force three Tangled Web characters intended to work alongside Spider-Weaver. This futuristic Spider-Man joins the aforementioned Spider-Weaver and Spider-Man (Noir) as Tangled Web faction members and is also a Hero, City, Bio, Controller who is also a member of the Spider-Verse faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications available in Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: Now that we have a clearer picture of the Tangled Web faction, it is a lot easier to see what stats we should focus on with Iso-8. Spider-Man 2099 has some fantastic stats with a Top 30 Damage (tied for 28th overall), Armor (tied for 29th), Focus (13th) and Resistance (11th). But most notable is his 127 base Speed which is 10th overall and tied with Spider-Weaver. However, on spawn, Spider-Man 2099 gains Speed Up is Spider-Weaver is an ally, so this means Spider-Man 2099 takes the first turn on this team. I would first look to enhance the Armor, Resistance and Focus stats then focus on Damage based on the Iso-8 recommendation below.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Spider-Man 2099 in Marvel Strike Force:

Being a fast character always keeps the door open for the Skirmisher or Raider class based on the character’s kit and attacks, but Spider-Man 2099 fits the Raider class the best given he takes the first turn on this team and gets bonuses in Crucible from critical hits. These crits will allow him and Spider Man (Noir) to set the table for Spider-Weaver to follow up and get the bonus Iso-8 turn from the Vulnerable status effect and get this team rolling, especially in the Cosmic Crucible game mode.
