TFEW: Best Power Cores for Rhinox & Tartantulas

TFEW - Transformers Earth Wars

Welcome to the latest in our series of articles about the Transformers Earth Wars mobile game where we take a look at the best Power Cores for each TFEW bot. While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Special class bots Rhinox & Tartantulas were added to the game in the July 2019 TFEW Alliance Leaderboard event and have a unique special ability that slows and damages defenses as they charge into battle. Specifically, Life Stealing Charge reads “Rush into combat imprisoning buildings on your path for 7 seconds. The vine/web deals 11.7 damage per second, slows down defences by 70% and heals your nearby allies by 25% of the defence’s damage value per second.” So which Power Cores are best for Rhinox & Tartantulas and ensure this special ability is enhanced?

Best Power Core for Rhinox & Tartantulas:

Amalgamous Prime Core – The Amalgamous Prime Core is one of the 2-3 best cores in the entire game and is a perfect fit for a handful of bots, and Rhinox & Tartantulas fit on this list in my opinion. The Life Stealing Charge ability’s damage would be enhanced by 6-15.5% while the bot regains Health. Given Rhinox & Tartantulas are designed to charge into battle, this added damage and survivability would make them incredibly difficult to deal with. Other solid options would include the Liege Maximo, Megatronus or Alchemist Prime Cores, but if a Prime Core is a route you can take, the Amalgamous Prime Core is a fantastic fit. For those unable to commit a Prime Core to Rhinox/ Tartantulas, added survivability from the Vitality or Rejuvenate Cores or the stun effect of the Death Pulse are solid choices.

Other Cores: Vitality Core, Rejuvenate Core, Death Pulse
