TFEW: Best Power Cores for Nosecone & Drillhorn

TFEW - Transformers Earth Wars

Welcome to the latest in our series of articles about the Transformers Earth Wars mobile game where we take a look at the best Power Cores for each TFEW bot. While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Autobot Nosecone and his Decepticon counterpart Drillhorn are Warrior class bots and are designed to help take out walls with a special ability that reads “Target one wall and cause high damage by rushing into it (or approx. 8x less damage on other targets).” First added to the game through the Drilling Crystals in the March 2020 Death From Below weekend event, these two could be found in 2, 3 or 4-star version from those crystals. So which Power Cores are best for Nosecone & Drillhorn to best enhance their abilities?

Best Power Core for Nosecone & Drillhorn:

Amalgamous Prime – The Amalgamous Prime Core is the best fit for a variety of bots in TFEW but can only be placed on one, so while this is the best Power Core for Nosecone & Drillhorn, it is not likely to be an option on most rosters. While Nosecone & Drillhorn will require some testing and gameplay based on your own Power Core inventory, since they are Warrior Class bots the Warrior-specific Power Cores are in play. However, the Trithyllium Plating and Death Pulse are two of the lowest value cores in the game, in my opinion, so I would be more inclined to lean toward the Ground Command Squad Cores instead. The Ground Command – Trithyllium Plating acts as a Rejuvenate for the equipped bot while also giving all Warriors reduced damage from Auto Cannons, Laser Turrets & Shock Towers. Meanwhile the Ground Command – Attack acts as a Rejuvenate for the equipped bot healing it every 5 seconds while boosting the damage for all Warrior class bots on the screen.

Other Cores: Ground Command – Trithyllium Plating or Ground Command – Attack
